I obtained this vintage U.S. Army Graphic Training Aid (GTA) 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 while attending the U.S. Army Infantry One Station Unit Training Course at Fort Benning, GA in May 1980. 

I kept this U.S. Army GTA 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 in a sealed plastic bag with other Army GTA’s obtained during Infantry Basic and Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Benning, GA.   

After my separation from the Army, I stored this sealed plastic bag in a sealed plastic container with other military items and stored them in one of our smoke free homes.  Since my wife and I relocated from Manassas VA to Fort Myers, FL, I no longer have a space to permanently store all my military training material or military service memorabilia.  As a result, I am offering this original vintage U.S. Army GTA 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 for sale on eBay.  

The front view of this original vintage U.S. Army GTA 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 is shown in the first attached high-resolution photograph.  The card’s width is 5 inches wide, and its height is 8 inches high.   Note: There are some minor blemishes on the GTA card from normal classroom and personal study use.  There is a “dog ear” crease on the top left-hand corner and some slight paper ripple imperfections along the left side of the card as shown in the second attached high-resolution photograph.   

The bottom left side of the GTA card exhibits: “Supersedes GTA 21-1-4, August 1970“ as shown in the third attached high-resolution photograph.   

The bottom right side of the card contains the following text: “GPO : 1974 O - 534 - 761, MARCH 1974, Distribution: US Army Training Aids Centers.” as shown in the fourth attached high-resolution photograph.   

The rear view of this original vintage U.S. Army GTA 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 is shown in the fifth attached high-resolution photograph.  The are no text or graphics on this side of the card. Note: This GTA has no rips or tears, only minor paper creases, ripples and dirt smudges from classroom use and individual study.   

As exhibited in the previous photographs, this original vintage U.S. Army GTA 24-1-4 Rifle Shot Group Analysis Card, dated March 1974 is in very good condition for being over 50 years old.  

There are some minor marks or blemishes based on classroom instruction and personal use.  This GTA was only used indoors and never taken outside. When not in use, this map was stored and protected inside a sealed plastic bag.  

This item would be a terrific addition for any novice or professional military collector.
