This beautiful antique metal, yellow gold in color, Chinese Yun Nan Province 3 Mace and 6 Candareens Coin Pendant is a stunning piece of artistry.

The Yun Nan Province in China is a mountain and plateau region on the country's southwestern frontier. The provincial capital is Kunming. It was one of the 22 provinces set up during the Quing dynasty as one of the 6 provinces in South China. The territory it administers was slightly larger than the present-day Yunnan.

The frontside of the pendant has an amazing dragon as well as the description of the coin. It appears that the coin has been hand-punched to highlight the wording, the dragon, and the background. "Yun - Nan - Providence" comprises the top portion of the coin. "3MACE AND 6CANDAREENS" comprises the bottom of the coin. The backside of the coin contains the coin value as well as other Chinese symbols pertaining to the coin. Most of what would appear for the year the coin was manufactured, its value, and symbols can't be seen due to the openwork of the opposite side of the coin. It is an amazing piece of fine craftmanship.

The coin pendant material is metal.

It is circular and approximately measures 1.309 in or 33.26 mm in diameter.

The side of the coin pendant is etched with fine lines and approximately measures 0.072 in or 1.84 mm in depth.

The metal yellow gold jump ring serves as the bail for the pendant.

It is approximately 0.022 in or 5.68 mm in diameter. It is approximately 0.05 in or 1.29 mm in depth.
