 This intact roll of Silver Jubilee 50 cent coins shows the heads side at each end.

It isn't unheard of these days for a collector to try and get a complete set of decimal coins in mint rolls - it'll take a helluva long time and pretty deep pockets, but what an excellent collection to have socked away for the future.

The 1977 50¬¢ has a fairly healthy mintage, mint rolls like this are becoming harder and harder to pick up.

Although this roll is heads / heads, we know that the only 50c coins struck in Australia in 1977 had the Silver Jubilee reverse.

We aren't game to open this up, so if you happen to get any coins with the coat of arms on the reverse in it, we don't want to know about it!
