This is for an original ticket stub for the April 16 1996
basketball game between the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley
Center in Milwaukee. On this day, the Bulls would become the first NBA
basketball team to reach the 70 win plateau with an 86-80 win over the Bucks.
Michael Jordan would lead the Bulls with 22 points while Scottie Pippen and Luc
Longley would chip in 17 points each. The Bulls would go on to win 72 games in
the season, topping the old mark of 69-13 by the 1971-72 Lakers who added a 33
game winning streak during their record setting season. The 2015-2016 San
Francisco Warriors would top the Bulls mark with a 73-9 record making them just
the second team ever to win 70 games or better. This stub, encapsulated and
graded authentic by PSA, is the first time a team would win 70 games in the
NBA, along with being led by Michael Jordan. The words tickets and Michael
Jordan go together like money in the bank. They will only continue to go up in
value. Crack it out and add a numerical grade to the ticket and watch the price
rise.
