Nice old vintage wood ball & cup toy advertising Duke Tire Company. This old fashioned toy is a red wooden cup atop a natural wood handle attached with a red string and blue wooden ball. On its handle the advertisement for "Duke Tire Co" along with "15 Locations".  Many companies during the 1940's and 1950's gave away promo items in hopes of attracting business or keeping the children entertained while the parents shopped for tires.  This advertising promotional toy measures 5" long and is New Old Stock. It was still in the original waxed bag and has been unwrapped to enable photos above.  Lettering is bright and clear. Nice old tire advertising toy that reminds us of a simpler day when a toy such as this could create hours of fun for children!
