This kit for Quadrajet base secondary shaft and other carbs with 3/8" shafts, Holley, Carter and more.
This comes with custom Made In USA drill bit and stop. 10 bronze bushings with bushing driver and 20 throttle blade screws 3-48 for quadrajet shaft
Enough parts to repair 5 base plates.
This Quadrajet Power LLC custom modified USA drill bit is made specific for this purpose.
It is self guiding and will last through thousands of Quadrajet base plate bushing installs.
This is the absolute best and easiest way to install your new bushings.
You will need to remove your baseplate.
Grind the throttle blade screw tips down. They are staked at factory and will snap if you don't.
Remove the shaft.
Drill each side deep enough for bushing to insert. Stop collar will prevent too deep.
Use some red Loctite on the bushings and tap in place.
Install shaft and use red loctite on the throttle blade screws.
Your quadrajet will now last much longer!
