Wyoming 1894 Early advertising cover featuring The Kuster Hotel in Laramie is a piece of postal history showcasing a 2 Cent Washington stamp in carmine (Scott #220). This hotel built in 1869 is the oldest building in Laramie and for many years the classic hotel serviced rail road employees (Union Pacific). Nice documentation of the history of the hotel can be found on line. This cover from 1894 Nov 8 was sent to Denver, Colorado, and backstamped with a receiving CDS from Denver, dated Nov 8, 9 p.m. thus received on the same day (surely by rail).
