This is an original painting (by me, Susan Diefenthaler Kennedy) on unframed and unstretched gessoed canvas. It depicts a small bunch of roses in a glass jar, and is done in a loosely realistic or impressionistic style. It is worked in alkyd oils, and has a bit of texture in the brushstrokes which you can see in the detail shots. The piece of canvas measures 10" x 15.5" wide, and the image is approximately 9.5"x12.5".
Sorry about the watermark, it obviously does not exist on the original : ) I am trying to keep control of my images.
It's been so long since I have painted florals! I've been working on an eBook and paperback about painting florals which I started ages ago, and diving back into it has really inspired me to do more. I think daffodils are next!
Let me know if you have any questions, and any reasonable offers are very welcome!
