The dew shield attach to the S30 using magnets. It is designed to be securely attached while remaining safe in case of an accidental shutdown—it will detach without causing jamming or damage to the SeeStar S30. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please ensure that the Dew Shield is always installed with the tabs positioned on top of the lens housing. Improper installation may cause damage to the telescope if the telescope arm closes. Although closing the telescope arm with properly installed accessories should not cause damage, it is not recommended (except for the Flexible Lens Cap) as it may still put additional tension on the telescope's gears. Ensure that all accessories are securely installed and properly aligned with the SeeStar lens, making sure they do not block the telescope aperture.

• The part is 3D printed.
• Not recommended for solar imaging, as the material may soften or warp under high temperatures (PLA matte withstands up to 50°C / 122°F).
