Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Akai AP-206 or AP-207 turntable. This includes replacements for all electrolytic caps in either of these turntables. This will take care of most of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these turntables, except if you have a bad IC chip or transistor. Leaky capacitors can damage the transistors or chips, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it.

This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors on the boards. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. Capacitors are Nichicon PW and Nichicon KL.

I will include fairly basic instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.

US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $20, no matter what quantity you buy. All my small parts are set up for combined shipping, so just use the "add to cart" feature and then check out all at once, and it will combine shipping. If you have any questions, please ask.
