This is a stunning Eparietites sp fossil ammonite collected from Conesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, England, which has been beautifully prepared and then polished to show the amazing colour and detail that these unique ammonites have to offer. It is a good sized specimen and has beautiful colour, amazing preservation and detail. Specimen does have a repair (see pictures). The specimen has detailed sutures, keel and varying colours from the calcite preservation. A collectors item ! 

Size of the ammonite measures approx 11.5cm in diameter, but the entire specimen measures approx 17.7cm x 14.5cm x 4.5cm.
