Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Boston Acoustics A-150 speakers. This will let you completely recap two (2) Boston Acoustics A-150 speakers. These are brand new Supertech 250v MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear.
There are two different crossover designs for the Boston Acoustics A-150 speakers. One version uses one 60 uf capacitor, one 20 uf cap, one 6.8 uf cap, and one 4.7 uf cap per speaker, and the other version uses two 60 uf caps, one 10 uf cap, and one 6 uf cap per speaker. There may be more versions as well. This listing is set up so you can select whichever set of caps you need. You will need to open up your speakers to check the crossover caps before you order. I would suggest opening both speakers, just in case one has a different crossover than the other.
These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips and/or flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. Please note that the new caps are much larger than the old ones, because they are much higher-quality film caps. They will still fit just fine.
