Offered are two Old Bay Line items from the 1930's to 1940's: a Baltimore Steam Packet Co. "Old Bay Line" Ticket Envelope dating to the 1930's - 40's.  Written on the inside of the envelope is the fare for an overnight trip between Washington, DC and Norfolk $9.13 (Fare $6.38 + Stateroom $2.75).  3 1/2 x 6 inches. Does not include ticket; an  Ivory soap wrapper displaying on a red background a steamship and the text: "Old Bay Line Baltimore-Old Point-Norfolk Washington-Old Point-Norfolk".  Most likely saved by my father (a collector of ship memorabilia) from transport to pre-WWII training at Ft.
