UNIGEL Gel

Indications:

UNIGEL Gel is a hydrophilic gel indicated for the treatment of superficial skin wounds.

Properties:

UNIGEL Gel binds free oxygen radicals generated during the wound healing process, isolates the wound from secondary infection from the outside, creates an elastic mechanical protective layer on the wound, and also creates a suitable environment for the granulation process and absorbs wound exudate.

Gel for external use only.

Isolates the wound from secondary infection from the outside.

Creates an elastic, mechanical protective layer on the wound.

Creates a suitable environment for the granulation process and absorbs wound exudate.

Composition:

UniGel is a hydrophilic methacrylic gel composed of a cross-linked copolymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, macrogol and distilled water, which has polymerically bonded and sterically protected amino groups (HEMA-HAS).

Application:

Before using the UniGel medical device, carefully read the leaflet enclosed in the package.

Clean the wound of any mechanical dirt or remnants of medicinal materials that could irritate and damage the wound.

Using the cap, pierce the upper part of the tube.

Apply a small amount of gel (a layer about 1 mm thick) to the entire surface of the wound.

The gel will adhere to the wound and then absorb exudate and other fluid from the wound.

Cover the wound with a sterile gauze and secure it with a bandage or plaster.

Small wounds after using the gel can be protected with a plaster with a dressing.

The gel swells after application.

The unique structure of the gel prevents it from sticking to the wound, which allows for easy, painless removal by gently rubbing or washing off.

The dressing should be changed every 12 to 24 hours.

This depends on the condition of the wound and the tightness of the external dressing, or on the doctor's recommendations.

Important information:

Children and pregnant women are advised to use the gel only after consulting a doctor.

In the case of people with increased sensitivity or after application in sensitive areas (e.g. around the eyes), slight skin irritation (e.g. itching or redness) may occur.

In such a situation, stop using the gel and consult a doctor.

In the event of adverse reactions (increased pain, redness, etc.), stop using the gel and consult a doctor.

Use for no longer than 30 days.

Consult a doctor before using the gel for more than 30 days.

Close the tube tightly after each use.
