Cut ore end slab that is pure silver and gold ore, mostly gold and silver metals with a little quartz brought to the surface from a deep earth mine about two centuries ago, recently slab cut from a large quartz ore with silver and gold combined This is an end cut with natural crust with one cut face. Tarnish develops quickly. Measurements from the longest points of the shape: 2-3/8 inches x 2 inches x 5/8 inch 71 grams or 2.5 ounces in weight silver and gold mix, sylvanite/ Teleride ore from the historical registered Ore Knob Copper Mine. Muriatic and nitric testing acids with filings from edge of the slab in silver, 14 k, 18, k 22, and platinum testing acids with a yellow swab in pl acid, last photo show where the filings were taken from the slab. Some crust fell onto the testing stone. No magnetic properties detected.
