The heavy duty board has cutout compartments for 20 mounted 35mm slides in it and has a heavy light-diffusing sleeve that the whole board slides into once you put your slides in the board. It also comes with 20 precut small 2" x 2" black paper masks that go over the front of the slides to mask the (usually white) slide mounts so that all you see are the images on the film. There are also 10 2" x 2" solid black masks for any slots that you don't put images into. The overall presentation when this is put onto a light table or held up to a light source is that you see nothing but your images. There are no distracting elements. This was always a really striking way to show work. The board measures 12" x 16".
