This is a newly assembled Tamiya Mercedes Arocs 4151 8x4 dumper bed. It is the dump bed and associated parts only. There is no truck included.

This perfect for someone who wants to make a custom dump truck. This would fit really well on a Grand Hauler chassis as long as the body was converted to a day cab. I have made some before and its pretty easy. Here are some considerations you should if you want to purchase this item:

No locktight or grease was used in the assembly. This was down to make it easy to disassemble and paint. Built completely stock.

No instructions or stickers are included. You can download the manual from TamiyaUSA.

This will only fit the AROCS 4151 chassis without modification. Adapting this to any other chassis will require measuring, drilling, and tapping holes. Chassis is available at Tamiyausa for around $45.

If you plan to use the Actuator Unit with a non AROCS 4151 chassis you will need to take note of specific locations for hole for mounting. Personally,  I'd buy a 4151 chassis and use it as template, super helpful.

The bed will be shipped in the 'locked closed' position. You will need to remove a cap screw in the front of the frame to release it.

I have a build thread on Tamiyaclub where I made King Hauler into a dump truck from a AROCS 3348 6x4 Tipper. It may help to see what I had to do to mount the bed.
