This large round glass plate or serving platter was made in Italy by IVV (Industria Vetraria Valdarnese), and the pattern pressed underneath is their Diamante pattern. (It does sparkle in the right light!). It has a label with the initials IVV and "Made in Italy", which can just be seen in the second photograph.  Although it is circular, it has a squared base, which I think would have been achieved by pressing the diamante patterned circle of hot glass over a squared mould and allowing it to cool in that shape. It will be perfect for holding a selection of fruit, small cakes, bread rolls, or a salad.  

 

The plate is 32 cm (12.5 inches) from side to side and weighs 1.9 kilograms before packaging.

There are no chips, nibbles or visible surface wear - it appears unused.

My packaging is always careful, and I use a mix of recycled, recyclable, biodegradable and new materials, so your order should arrive with you in the same condition it leaves me. Orders placed before 14:00 GMT or BST will be despatched the same (or at weekends the next) working day.
