This rare fossil contain a gryphaea and an ammonite which was was collected from Scunthorpe, England, many years ago and has been recently prepared and then polished to show great preservation, detail and colour. A great display piece, approx 200 million years old. Specimen does have a repair (see pictures).
Specimen measures approx 21cm x 16.5cm x 4cm, with the ammonite approx 8cm in diameter.
