This is an extremely hard to find original Pickering governor for an early farm tractor. I don't know what model it fits so if you do please educate me! It could be McCormick Deering, Wallis, or several other choices of gray tractors at the time as it has original gray paint on it as can be seen. It mounts with two holes 2 3/8 inches apart on center. It is in as found condition from an old farm shop where it lived in retirement for decades. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that i can see or know of on the outside. On the inside it will need new spring steels under two of the balls which should be pretty straightforward. The brass carburetor arm moves as it should. The drive gear on the mounting bracket is in good shape and the bracket mounts with two holes 4 1/4 inches apart on center. After the attention to the two balls it should be ready to be used on a tractor. If you want something different for your tractor here it is. These governors are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won't be this nice. I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you'd like to talk about it. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.
