Hand made c1970 in the Iden pottery Rye, Sussex. Iden of Rye lamps were sold in Harrods and Heals in the late 60's and 70's. The makers stamp lies underneath the felt pad on the base - I have left the original base cover intact

The base appears to be in excellent condition with no chips or cracks

The lamp works as it should with original flex and fittings - there is a crack in the lamp holder (see pic) which doesn't affect performance but you may wish this to be replaced by a competent person and the lamp PAT tested

Measures 60 cm overall with shade fitted

The base is 26cm to the top of he ceramic, 39 cm to top of lamp holder and with a diameter of approx 18cm

The shade measures 28cm diameter and 30 cm tall. externally it looks fantastic but shows it's approx 50 years age at the top and bottom where the paper is very delicate - see pics
