Nolan Ryan was a 8-time All-Star who ended his career with a lifetime record of 324-292 (.526). His 5,714 career strikeouts is an MLB record by a significant margin. During the 1977 season, Nolan set a league record by striking out 10 or more batters in 104 games.  This card recognizes that achievement.  He is still the Major League record holder in this category amassing 215 games with 10 or more strikeouts.  Nolan Ryan also holds theMajor League record for no-hitters with 7 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.

Corners: Sharp corners all around the card.

Edges:  Edges are clean and straight all around the card

Card Face:  The face of the card has great color and gloss. There are no creases. There is a scratch in the middle of the card that does detract slightly from the overall eye appeal of the card.

Centering: Centering is approximately 55/45 all around..

Back of Card:  Back of card is clean and bright. Centering is approximately 55/45 to 60/40 all around.
