Tungsten carbide screw in studs can be used in felt or rubber soles.

There are 24 studs in a pack including 1 install tool.

I Use 5 studs in the heel and 5 studs in the front of the sole with two in the middle, space studs out evenly.

Apply pressure when screwing studs into sole especially into rubber. 

When applying screws do not over screw this will loose grip of the screw. 

Screws should be inserted so there is roughly 1mm of the screw protruding from the sole.

I have been using these studs for years now in my felt wading boots.

At the end of the season the little carbon rod doesn’t even look like it’s been bashed over boulders and walked miles on, in fact they don’t look like they’ve be worn down at all.
