The Molecular Devices SpectraMax Plus provides an ultrafast, complete spectral range detection method for cuvettes and 96-well microplates with temperature-independent path length correction. This absorbance plate reader has a patented multi-channel optical design that mimics a dual-beam spectrophotometer, measuring each sample in the plate directly. This optical design eliminates measurement error due to variations in light output between optical fibers on other instruments for more reliable data reporting. The SpectraMax Plus has a wavelength of 190-1000 nm and a bandwidth of 2 nm. The nine-channel system delivers high precision and speed when reading cuvettes and 96-well microplates for endpoint measurements, kinetic assays, and spectral scans.
