**Adventure Comics No. 292**, published by DC Comics in January 1962, features two main stories:

1. **Superboy: "The Laughing Stock of Smallville"** - In this story, Superboy discovers a new element called "Superboy-X." Lex Luthor, driven by jealousy, sabotages the Superboy Science Fair using elements whose initials spell out his name. Superboy must save the day and restore his reputation.

2. **Bizarro: "Bizarro Creates a Monster"** - Bizarro is upset that Earth broadcasts call the Frankenstein Monster a horror character. He decides to create a real monster by capturing an apelike caveman and using a duplicator ray to produce a creature named Sapollo. However, Sapollo turns out to be too horrifying even for the Bizarros.

The cover art was created by **Curt Swan** and **Sheldon Moldoff**. It's a classic Silver Age comic with a mix of superhero action and humor.
