The book is an alchemical treatise attributed to Antoine-Joseph Pernety (1716 - 1796) - although it has been suggested that it might have actually been the work of Pernety's "Editor" Edouard Blitz. The present volume is a facsimile of the Occult Publishing Company, Boston, first edition of 1898, with the Pratum introduction added.
