Red Scotch Bonnet Hot Peppers
1 lot contains 25 Pepper seeds.
We have truck farmed for 30+ years and use these vegetable varieties our-self on our Southern Illinois farm, Red Scotch Bonnet Hot Peppers will be available at our farm stand this season as soon as they get red. Our seeds are acquired fresh annually in bulk from Horticultural Products and Services of Wisconsin and broken down into smaller, manageable lots.
Originally from Jamaica and now popular all around the world, Scotch
Bonnet Red hot peppers seeds grow an incredibly delicious smoky flavor
while also possessing an extreme heat that has resulted in it being
labeled as one of the hottest peppers. Closely related to the habanero,
Scotch Bonnet Red hot peppers are known for their small wrinkly
appearance (and with a bonnet shape that gives the variety its name). Seeds are slow to germinate and need warm, moist conditions, best to start under glass 8 weeks before moving to the field.
