Lakeland Green Slate is uniform in colour with some rusty colour inclusions and has a chunky profile.

As a low maintenance product that helps to prevent weed growth it is ideal for garden projects and landscaping schemes. It can be used for ornamental water features, fishponds, lawn borders, raised flower beds and to finish a garden stone rockery.

Lakeland Green Slate Chippings 40mm

Applications: Perfect for decorative ground covering, garden stone rockeries, lawn borders, raised flower beds, ornamental water features, pondless waterfalls or fishponds.

Actual Sizing: Chunky chippings graded at 40mm, but including pieces between 20-40mm with some possible variance in size due to the nature of the material.

Colour: Appearing uniformly vivid green when wet and paler when dry as pictured.

Shape: Flat, angular chippings with a thicker profile in comparison to other slate products and a roughly hewn surface texture.

Material: Natural Cumbrian Slate.

Please be aware that this is a natural product and some variations in size and colour may occur.

Deliveries will be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. Please note that deliveries will be made on a tail lift truck not a crane/Hiab offload, therefore you will need an area that is flat and free from grass, gravel and uneven paving to enable our hauliers to deliver to you. Please ensure that someone is available to sign on the delivery date and that there is sufficient space to deliver otherwise this may incur a re-delivery charge of at least £35 per pallet. Please see the video below detailing how we offload our goods.
