Available is this gorgeous Hopi pot signed Elva Nampeyo. The pot is in nice condition and has hand painted designs on the top sections. One side has some darker areas on it as seen in photos - please note photos 4&7. Shows normal wear commensurate with age. Minor signs of paint loss. Measures 4.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall. No chips, cracks, or damage.
From an online bio: Elva Nampeyo was the granddaughter of Nampeyo and daughter of Fannie. She was born in the Hopi First Mesa, in Arizona. Her mark is the corn clan symbol initiated by her mother Fannie. Elva Tewaguna Nampeyo (1926-1885) is in public collections like the Heard Museum and the Museum of Northern Arizona. Four of her children also became potters (Nevam, Elton, Miriam, and Adelle).
