An absolutely incredible, and very rare, Dioptase in and on Quartz from Kaokoland, Namibia. Dioptase is a rare mineral on its own, and it is even more unusual to find it with quartz. This large specimen is covered in utterly gorgeous sparkling emerald green dioptase crystals on creamy opaque quartz, and also features a magical vug with translucent crystalline quartz, and particularly vibrant dioptase crystals. A totally stunning, and exceptionally unique piece.
