There is a "Coming Next Month" ad in the inside cover page promoting issue #539 'The Enchanted Fish'; there is a Highest Reorder Number (HRN)- 539- on the back cover. This comic book, which is almost 70 years old, has a fairly nice looking cover shine, and an above average crispness level. The flaws are typical of what one would find in this condition, such as some inside cover pencil'g of a puzzle, a bit of staple rust, an inside 1/2" edge tear, and general wear. Inside, everything is complete (8 front/back pages before the center staple, and 8 afterwards), with no coupons or panels cut out, as the structure is fairly solid, with no brittleness, with the OWL whiteness level about a 5 or a 6.
