This 3" glass paperweight with what I think is crematorium ash, designed mourning or remembrance. The paperweight is unmarked, and it is unknown which era or country of manufacture it was made, which adds to its mystery and intrigue. Not 100% sold on the idea of cremated remains in a paperweight, a bit morbid way to remember a past loved one by todays' standards but was quite acceptable in the Victorian to Edwardian eras.

The examples I found online are a non-factual conspiracy that was cooked up by a crackpot to make their paperweights a bit more morbid and interesting. So please take this description with a grain of salt.
