2008 Longaberger Collectors Club Member Basket Set, first in JW Longaberger Heritage Series--signed by Jeff Longaberger!

Inspired by the oldest basket in the Longaberger family collection, this is a very special addition to your collection! The JW Longaberger Heritage Series honored each generation of the Longaberger family, beginning with this one that recognized Daddy John Longaberger, the one who started it all. Daddy John crafted the little sample Ware Basket, many of which were sold to potteries in Ohio, that inspired this Basket Set

The bottom of the Basket is signed by Jeff Longaberger, the youngest of Dave Longaberger's brothers. Family members often graciously signed the baskets that had been created by their family so long

The Ware Basket's inverted bottom could handle the weight of very heavy pottery loads. This Basket's green shoestring weave accents the curve at the bottom of the basket. 

This commemorative version uses high-quality features to hearken back to the original. Blue leather lashings at the top of the basket creates Xs that contrast beautifully with the dark green trim strip on the basket's top band

Basket Set was probably only displayed at Longaberger shows and is in great condition. Please use zoom feature on all photos. 

Collectors Club baskets have an exclusive striped fabric Liner. This stand-up Liner has a special tag and needs the included plastic Protector over it to hold it upright and look its best.

 This Basket also served as the 2008 Member Basket, available only to Club Members with an exclusive certificate. A gold tag is added to the basket's top band and a special Club woodburn is on the bottom. 

2008 Member Basket, fabric Liner, and plastic Protector are in good briefly-displayed condition.
