The Slovenia 1 Tolar banknote was released by the Republic of Slovenia in 1990. The banknotes obverse features the Triglav mountain peak. Its reverse depicts a honeycomb pattern and a Carniolan honey bee. The banknote comes in yellow and olive green color combinations and is 150 x 73 mm in size. It has no security threads but carries a watermark that reflects a snowflake pattern. The banknote was printed by Cetis Celje and bears the signature of the Secretary of Finance, Marko Kranjec.
