This set contains colour pictures of famous music acts from the mid-1960s and was presented in association with 'The Record Mirror'. The stars include American band The Beach Boys who enjoyed success in the UK in 1966 with 'God Only Knows' and 'Good Vibrations', The Supremes who's line up included Diana Ross along with Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard, Tom Jones who is better known these days for his appearances on 'The Voice', Cliff Richard and the Shadows who separately and together have enjoyed long careers, Manfred Mann who's biggest his was "5-4-3-2-1", The Kinks a London group who had a hit with 'Dedicated Follower of Fashion', Scottish singer-songwriter Lulu, folk singer Julie Felix and pop star Georgie Fame who are pictured together, but enjoyed solo careers, The Rolling Stones who were described as veterans of the pop world in 1967, The Walker Brothers Scott, Gary and John who had a string of hits including "Make It Easy On Yourself", Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich who were trying to break into the American market with "Bend It" and Alan Price and Chris Farlowe who are pictured together but enjoyed solo careers, although Alan Price had original been part of the Animals line up. The numbered backs have plenty of career details. These are pure nostalgia and size 89 x 89mm.
