From the recent clearance of a collection of antique, mostly military, binoculars.
These unusual binoculars were made in Paris by Lemaire probably in the latter part of the 19th century, they are identifiable by their bee trademark stamped to the lens adjuster.
This adjuster has 3 settings and it swivels another eyepiece lens into position for each setting, "Marine, Field or Theatre".
The optics are crisp and clear but only on the theatre setting as the right hand eyepiece is missing its field and marine lenses.
The case is solid but missing its closing strap.
Postage will be with Royal Mail.
