The program is in excellent condition with minor wear. There is a light printing smear of blue on the right-hand side of the cover. The lineup is included and has been folded. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program and lineup.
The 1962 National 400 was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 14th. Fireball Roberts sat on the pole and would lead the 44-car field in the 267 lap race. A crowd of 40,211 watched Junior Johnson win by two laps over Roberts. Finishing third was Fred Lorenzen, followed by Bunkie Blackburn and Joe Weatherly. With his fifth place finish, Weatherly clinched the 1962 Grand National Championship.
