1938 TURF & SURF LITHO PRINT 

This horse racing nostalgia is from June 1938 as it was stored framed in my fathers barbershop in Buffalo N.Y. for over 72 years!! I have included a few photos to view of his shop.

This authentic reproduction was from the cover of the magazine by the famous artist and illustrator David Lockhart. The newlywed couple are deciding on their honeymoon in Niagara Falls or Belmont Race Track...Wonder who is going to Win!!

 My dad loved the "ponies" and he needed for them to love him as 25 cents for a haircut was not making it so running a barbershop was a great meeting spot for all concerned betters!!!
