A Custom Casual Vintage Budget Mono Black Zombies Deck:

    This budget deck is a custom player-made deck built around going wide with Army of the Damned and Endless Ranks of the Dead and swarming the table with zombies. The rest of the deck includes card advantage, removal, and a few specific zombies. The deck comes with a free Ultra Pro deck box. The cards are sleeved in pink pro sleeves to protect them during gameplay.

  The deck is almost 100% Modern legal. A single copy of Kaervek's Spite makes the deck illegal. I have included a copy of Nightmare in the deck for you in case your playgroup is a stickler for formats even when playing casual magic.

  1. Army of the Damned + Endless Ranks of the Dead

    • Use Army of the Damned to create a massive swarm of zombie tokens. Combine it with Endless Ranks of the Dead to exponentially grow your horde during each upkeep, overwhelming opponents with sheer numbers.

  2. Corrupt + High Swamp Count

    • With 24 Swamps in the deck, Corrupt can deal massive damage to opponents or remove key threats while simultaneously gaining you a large chunk of life. This serves as a powerful control and finisher tool.

  3. Diabolic Tutor + Toolbox Options

    • Use Diabolic Tutor to fetch key cards like Army of the Damned for a zombie swarm, Corrupt for a lethal burn spell, or Kaervek’s Spite for a surprise game-ending attack.

  4. Kaervek’s Spite + Life Management

Once you stabilize, cast Army of the Damned to flood the board and use Corrupt or Kaervek’s Spite to finish off your opponents.
