Prizehead Leaf Lettuce is a loose-leaf variety of lettuce that is known for its sweet flavor and crisp texture.  Prizehead lettuce has large, green leaves with curled maroon tips. The outer leaves are frilly and fringed with purple-bronze, while the inner leaves are lime green. 

Prizehead Leaf Lettuce seeds grows well in cool weather, the first crop can be direct sown when the soil temperature reaches at least 50°F. If the soil temperature rises above 75°F, the loose leaf lettuce seeds become dormant.
