The 1966 Southeastern 500 was held at Bristol International Speedway on March 20th. The 32-car field was led to green by the pole winner David Pearson driving the #6 Cotton Owens Dodge. A crowd of 25,000 would watch.
The race turned into a very high attrition affair with only seven cars finishing. Leading the way was Dick Hutcherson in the #29, followed by Paul Lewis, James Hylton, Elmo Langley, and Sam McQuagg.
Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
