Burma is currently known as The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and is located in Southeast Asia bordered by China to the northeast, India and Bangladesh to the northwest, Laos, and Thailand to the east and southeast, and the Andaman Sea as well as the Bay of Bengal in its southern and southwestern parts. The country, which was formerly known as Burma, is the largest in Mainland Southeast Asia.
