This is a very well used Nikon CL-42 hard lens case, originally supplied with the Nikon 300mm f 4.0 lenses. As you can see from the photos, it's very well used, but still completely functional. The leather hinge and locking strap are still in usable shape and the interior is clean. The strap rings are still securely attached to the body of the case. The outside leather is pretty cracked and aged (see photos). It's still a solid case and will protect whatever lens you us it for.
