HOYA 49mm SOFT SPOT FILTER This high quality Hoya 49mm SOFT SPOT glass filter is in MINT (unmarked) optical condition, supplied with keeper and box. Soft Spot filters are generally used for portrait photography as they create a picture with a sharp centre focus and a softer area outside of the central circle (please view the gallery images). Most effective when used with the standard lens. Use is also possible with other lenses, but the size of the sharp area ln the center will vary depending on the lens used. The border between the centre and peripheral areas of the filter also becomes sharper as the lens is stopped down. Will fit any Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Fuji, Minolta / Sony etc. lens with a 49mm thread.
