Operation Notes for L1060 Laser Module

 

1.    Refer to the L1060 Layout drawing

2.    Connect +5Vdc (2 Amp) to power connector J2, positive at pin 1.

3.    S1 is a 3 position slide switch, pre-set to power off at position 1.

Slide the switch to position 2 to turn on the board power and TEC temperature controller.

Keep the switch at the position 2 and watch the LED changing the color from RED to GREEN in few seconds.

When the LED is GREEN, slide the switch to position 3 to enable the laser and heater power.

4.    POT_1 is a multi-turn potentiometer used for the wavelength tuning.
