Here is a bicolored kunzite crystal from Kunar, Afghanistan. This crystal is gemmy with dozens of jagged terminations on each end. The kunzite shows a split down the middle of blue and purple colors when looking through the c axis. Both colors are less common than pink for these specimens. Fluoresces reddish-orange under UV light and has a phosphorescence that keeps it glowing for long after the UV light is off. I’m not exaggerating when saying the phosphorescent glow is over 30 seconds. An interesting gem specimen!
