[About the actual car]
- The M3 Half-track was one of the half-tracks developed by the US Army during World War II.
- It was officially adopted in 1940, and approximately 12,500 were produced from 1941 onwards.

- In addition, various variations were produced, taking advantage of the mobility of the half-track and the capacity of the troop compartment.
- Among these, the T19 105mm self-propelled howitzer was developed by modifying the troop compartment and mounting a 105mm howitzer.
- Development began in 1941, and approval for use in combat was granted in 1942.
- Production immediately began at Diamond T Motorcar Company, but due to the fact that production of the M7 Priest, which was equipped with the same 105mm M2A1 howitzer, had already begun, only 324 T19s were produced.
- Adopted in 1941, it was used throughout World War II and afterwards in the Korean War and Vietnam War.

- The compartment at the rear of the vehicle, where the 105mm howitzer is mounted, accurately reproduces the details of the T19, even down to the texture of the floor.
