Item:  Department 56 NEW ENGLAND VILLAGE SIGN ‘Fresh Paint' Accessory (#56592).  This hand-painted white porcelain item includes a male painter painting the sign surrounded by snow-covered trees in original box.  The piece is incised with signature on the bottom.  It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  There is gentle shelf wear to the box commiserate with age/use.  Comes from a smoke-free home.  See photos for detailed description and condition.  I do my best to show any flaws and/or markings as this item is previously owned.   Please contact me with any questions.
