The Type 94 37 mm anti-tank gun was developed by the Imperial Japanese Army and produced around 3,400 units between 1936 and 1945. It was notably used during the Sino-Japanese War, the conflicts in Manchuria and during the Second World War. worldwide.

This Type 94 optical sight with fixed magnification of 2.5 x 13 was produced by the Tokyo Arsenal (Tokyo Dai-ichi Rikugun Zoheisho). It has a central adjustment ring and a rubber eye-cup. The scope has retained almost all of its original black paint. There are traces of oxidation on the central part which did not have paint there.

The scope comes with a wooden carrying case which contains two optical filters (one orange, one red) in their circular compartments and a cleaning brush. An original label is present in the lid.
Only the plate with the serial number on the front of the box is missing.

The serial number is written on the metal of the scope and on the adjustment ring: 14558
The length of the scope with the eye-cup is approximately 22.5 cm.
