Vintage mid 1960s EMILIO PUCCI "VIVARA" silk foulard neckerchief scarf, a 17-inch square, in his inimitable mod geometric graphics with the letters, "Vivara," (the name of the perfume fragrance Pucci introduced in 1965) integrated into the design motif. With an engaging palette of aqua, light blue, olive green, muted chartreuse, mocha, coffee brown, black and ivory, the scarf features hand-rolled, hand-sewn hems, and is dotted with Pucci's signature, "Emilio" in the print design. Made in Italy. The scarf is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition. It shows little wear, and appears to have been folded in a drawer for decades, but does have a few small faint stains, commensurate with its age. The scarf also has a faint smell of perfume--perhaps Vivara? All told, gorgeous--as an accessory or as a framed gem of décor.
